Non-public investigator Lucas Douglas (Michael Weston), a character encouraged partially by Shore's love in the Rockford Documents, appears in 3 episodes of Season 5. House at first hires Douglas to spy on Wilson, that has ended their friendship right after Volakis' Demise (the friendship is subsequently rekindled). House later pays Douglas to inve
